LYNXX's father was a globe-trotting documentary cinematographer and producer. Starting in the mid-1970s he created the "Krieges" logo (a shortened version of his surname). The contour is inspired by the French Curve, a tool used in drafting and analog illustration. It was stenciled onto all of the knurled aluminum Pelican cases in which he transported his film equipment.
