I originally created Plex-Emitter (or "Complex" Emitter) in 2013. It was written in reaction to the trauma of moving to New York City, in particular the financial strain and space constraints. While electronic music and synthesizers have played an enormous role in shaping my artistic voice, I had never created electronic music of my own nor worked with electronic equipment. I decided I would work with what I had and therefore this entire album was created using stock digital synthesizer plug-ins native to Logic Pro X (with the exception of sampled Hare Krishna chanting on Plex-Emitter No. 3, which I recorded on my iPhone on the 14th Street subway platform).

[com]Plex-Emitter is a reflection of many things, an evolution, a mode of self-discovery and a purifying flame for my creative psyche. This edition was remixed and remastered in isolation during the global Covid-19 pandemic on April 30, 2020 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. [com]Plex-Emitter is dedicated to Michael Royce, who greatly inspired me while I wrote it.
